Inter Milan has secured their place in the UEFA Champions League final after a dramatic 4-3 extra-time victory over Barcelona, culminating in a 7-6 aggregate win.
The semi-final second leg at San Siro was a rollercoaster with Inter taking an early 2-0 lead through goals from Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu. Barcelona responded with strikes from Eric Garcรญa, Dani Olmo and Raphinha, edging ahead 3-2.

However, veteran defender Francesco Acerbi equalized in stoppage time, forcing extra time. Substitute Davide Frattesi then netted the decisive goal in the 99th minute, sending Inter to their second Champions League final in three years.Goalkeeper Yann Sommer was instrumental in Inter’s success, making crucial saves throughout the match.
Manager Simone Inzaghi praised his team’s resilience, highlighting their victories over Bayern Munich and Barcelona en route to the final.

Inter will now await the outcome of tonight’s semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal. PSG holds a 1-0 advantage from the first leg, courtesy of Ousmane Dembรฉlรฉ’s early goal. Arsenal, aiming for their first Champions League final since 2006, will need a strong performance at the Parc des Princes to overturn the deficit.The Champions League final is scheduled for May 31, 2025, at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
