After nearly two weeks on the run, his carefully crafted escape plan fell apart in a modest lodging in Isebania, Migori County, as determined officers closed in just moments before he could cross into Tanzania.

It all began on a seemingly ordinary night in Nairobi when chaos broke loose along Ngong Road. Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo Were, deep in thought at a red light, never saw the danger approaching until the shot rang out.

In a matter of seconds, his life was abruptly stolen away, sending shockwaves through a nation that now demands answers.

Authorities soon pieced together a tale of cunning and ill-fated ambition, with Kush emerging as a key figure in the criminal enterprise behind this brazen hit.

Following the fatal incident, the suspect’s trail led him from the bustle of Nairobi to quieter corners such as Mihang’o in Embakasi and Narok, before he attempted his final gambit on a PSV bound for Isebania.

However, like a well-timed prank by fate itself, his escape was thwarted when detectives pounced on him, arresting him alongside an accomplice who had hoped to share in his misadventure.
