This was the exchange of words between deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and Mombasa governor Abdulswamad Nasir, now the war has now rapped the council of governors pushing them to release a joint statement.
Earlier this week Gachagua claimed that up to ten billion shillings have been sent to counties,The El nino Rains have been experienced in various parts of the country for weeks now, destroying properties and, household displaced, while those affected with the calamity await assistance from the government, two levels of government are still reading from different script.
Now Gachagua says that the national government will run its own responsible plan and hoping that the county government will take care on the El nino effects.
Deputy president says national government has already released 2.4billion shillings to the response program.
County coordination teams comprising national government officials at the counties with representation from local county governments now different sources indicate that ordinarily,it is the county government that finances operations of such teams, the same counties say they are strained as the national government owes them 62billion shillings since September.
