Hyundai set a perfect start in Kasarani yesterday with Thierry Neuville beating his teammate, Ott Tanak by 0.1 seconds, Tanak is the 2019 champion, and the defending champion of team Toyota, Kalle Rovanpera finished in the top 3 with 0.7 seconds behind the Hyundai competitors Then Takamoto of Toyota came fourth and the fifth one was Esapekka Lappi from Hyundai.
Kenyan drivers who made it in the top 10, were led by Carl ‘Flash’ Tundo who finished seventh and the African title record holder Karan Patel finished eighth.
