Hyundai set a perfect start in Kasarani yesterday with Thierry Neuville beating his teammate, Ott Tanak by 0.1 seconds, Tanak is the 2019 champion, and the defending champion of team Toyota, Kalle Rovanpera finished in the top 3 with 0.7 seconds behind the Hyundai competitors Then Takamoto of Toyota came fourth and the fifth one was Esapekka Lappi from Hyundai.
Kenyan drivers who made it in the top 10, were led by Carl ‘Flash’ Tundo who finished seventh and the African title record holder Karan Patel finished eighth.
Fans are given a thrilling Easter holiday with different brands of racing cars and their skillful drivers will be shifting gears and drifting in the challenging terrains of Naivasha as it kicks off from Loldia to diverse landscape of Geothermal to Kedong 1 then Looldia 2 and finally finish the day at Geotherthemal 2 and Kedong 2.
