The ministry of education says,a total of 238,714 applications for scholarships and loans for university and TVET students had been submitted,however,30,398 are yet to apply for the funds.
With enrolment of one hundred and twenty one thousand,three hundred and sixty seven students should expect the funds within the next two weeks.
TVET students have further been encouraged to submit their applications owing to the fact that,30% of them are yet to seek funding.
Elsewhere,the ministry of education in partnership with european unions,aims to ensure an additional ten thousand schools that can access digital learning,in a four hundred and thirty million euros project.
The project aims to benefit three hundred and sixty four thousand learners,and three thousand teachers will acquire digital literacy and connectivity.
