The attorney general Justin Muturi failed to appear before the parliamentary committee which collected views on affordable housing in Mombasa, and failed also to give his views in Parliament on government’s housing plan.
Being the former national assembly speaker, Justin Muturi has been tamed disregarding the bill, the committee has now given out a notice that they will do away with the bill until the attorney general appears before the committee.
This comes as concerns have been raised over amusing clause on how to address the emotive land issues.
The committee has given directions on what next and the period for the bill to be amended into law after consideration of the public views after the exercise set to close today.
Chesumei member of Parliament Paul Biego has said that they have completed collecting opinions from Kenyans regarding affordable housing projects and are ready submit the report to Parliament when it returns to it is sessions.
