Odinga was speaking in Homabay county during the international investment conference, where he used the opportunity to explain on his move to be the AU chair, Raila assured his supporters that he will be in position to fight for their rights.
Other azimio leaders who were present at the conference asked Odinga to bring together all opposition leaders, saying that this will make the coalition strong, when he gets the AU commission chairmanship.
Odinga went on revealing the meeting between him, president William Ruto and Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni in Uganda,where he said that Museveni has assured him that Uganda will propose his name at the African union before the vote is taken.
President William Ruto and prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi are going on engaging different head of states from African continent, the recent one being Ethiopian prime minister Aby Ahmed Ali, who come in the country for a meeting, citizens across the country have expressed their reactions on how Odinga’s meeting with president William Ruto, will affect Kenya’s future politics.
