Wycliffe Oparanya, the ex-governor of Kakamega county, has at long last responded to rumors about his alleged marriage to another woman.
This is due to stunning images featuring Oparanya and a 30 Year-old woman known as Mary Biketi which has been making rounds on social media, prompting the seasoned Luhya politician to address the situation.
Oparanya, who is presently in Mombasa, affirmed the authenticity of the photos and questioned the motives behind their public release. He expressed disappointment stating “I’ve come across genuine photos being circulated. Its puzzling because someone would invest time in spreading them. It’s regrettable that private moments captured in those photos found their way to the media. They depict wholesome moments, and I fail to comprehend the curiosity surrounding them”.
The politician also refuted claims of being hospitalized and criticized those spreading such rumors. “And despite the false reports circulating about me being hospitalized due to illness, here I stand. I have a large family relying on me, and its imperative to shield them from such misinformation. Those responsible for disseminating fake news ought to cease immediately,” he declared.
