Detectives have stumbled on a human body believed to be that of a missing taxi driver Mumbua Muloki.
The female body was discovered at the city mortuary after an intense grilling session with the suspect, Edwin Ng’etich who was found with a stolen motor vehicle belonging to Mumbua.
Wednesday evening seems to be a sad end to DCI detectives probing the disappearance of Victoria Muloki. Detectives said they have discovered human body believed to be that of a mother of three lying dead at the Nairobi city mortuary.
Investigations revealed that the female body was found in a thicket within Maimahiu next to a road in Kiambu county. Police were notified and it was brought in the city mortuary, where it was booked on the 29th of Sept 2024 as an unknown body.
Criminal intelligence and bureau research detectives who were profiling the suspect one Edwin Ng’etich were behind the discovery. Edwin Ng’etich who was arrested in Nakuru driving a motor vehicle belonging to Muloki, opened up to the detectives after intense grilling.
It is said lead detectives to Larry where he had allegedly dumped the body. Muloki’s family back in Mombasa was notified.The family says they will be traveling to Nairobi to conduct further identification processes among them DNA profiling , as police plan for a postmortem examination to know the cause of the death.
Meanwhile, records have revealed that the suspect Edwin Ng’etich had committed similar offenses before.
