Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has found himself at the center of controversy. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has accused Sudi of using a Ksh2 million donation to silence the PCEA Church in Kasarani from speaking out against the government.
However, Sudi has vehemently denied these claims, calling them laughable and accusing Gachagua of focusing on trivial matters instead of addressing the real issues affecting Kenyans.During a recent speech at the Eldoret Pioneer DCC Women’s Conference, Sudi took a swipe at Gachagua, questioning his leadership abilities and implying that his impeachment was a result of his disrespectful comments. Sudi even went as far as to suggest that Gachagua’s inability to lead effectively led to his downfall.
In a bold move, Sudi defended his actions, stating that he will continue to make donations to churches despite facing criticism. He emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and expressed his commitment to supporting religious institutions.
This exchange between Sudi and Gachagua comes on the heels of Gachagua’s accusations against President William Ruto’s administration, claiming that the government is attempting to silence the church. Gachagua alleged that Sudi was sent with Ksh2 million to prevent the PCEA Church in Kasarani from criticizing the government after a violent incident.As the political tensions continue to rise, it remains to be seen how this feud between Sudi and Gachagua will unfold.
