President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to disregard opposition politics, reaffirming his confidence in securing a second term in office in 2027.
Speaking during a church service at the Africa Inland Church (AIC) in Kibra, Nairobi County, the Head of State said his administrationโs development track record will be the foundation of his re-election bid.
Meanwhile, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, once again criticized the Kenya kwanza administration. Gachagua alleged betrayal within the Mt. Kenya region, and urged residents to ignore those he labeled as traitors.

His remarks drew sharp criticism from the current DP Kithure Kindiki, who defended musicians recently hosted at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi.
Kindiki called on Gachagua to cease attacking artists and affirmed the government’s continued support for creatives from the region.Gachagua has accused the government of imposing policies that burden ordinary citizens, while Kindiki reiterated his commitment, to standing by local talent, and fostering growth in the creative industry.
