Among the priority agenda will be the consideration of committee reports, motions, and bills awaiting debate and approval.
The Assembly’s long recess, scheduled for August, coincides with the region’s traditional male initiation season, a significant cultural event across many communities in Bungoma County. The legislative calendar has been aligned to allow Members to participate in and support these important cultural activities. As MCAs return to their wards during the recess, residents are encouraged to actively engage their elected representatives and contribute to discussions aimed at shaping the county’s development agenda and strengthening accountable governance.
