The final autopsy results of the late world record-holder athlete, Kelvin Kiptum are out. The chief government pathologist, Dr. Johaness Oduor revealed that the disease succumbed to head injuries, he had fractures on the base of his skull and also ribs and damages on his lungs caused by the car accident.
The family spokesman Philip Kiplagat says they are contented with the findings and they will proceed with the burial arrangements on Friday. The burial will take place on Kiptum’s farm in Naibei at Uasin Gishu county, while his coach Hakizimana Gervais will be buried in Kigali, Rwanda.
